can't make change to 2nd speed, Please HELP !!

I go full throtle, dont change to 2nd speed !, tryed to adjust to change it earlier, turning second visible screw (as manual said) in transmision box, nothing happens. any idea ???
 
is your engine tuned correctly? Sometimes if it doesn't wind out like it should then it won't shift.
 
How many turns counter-clockwise to the adjusting screw i have to make, until not to loosen screw?
 
Don't keep fiddling w/ it if you're not sure.....get the motor tuned properly and it should shift fine...the engine needs to get up to a crtain RPM and it will shift.....
 
I had the same problem with my maxx. Turned out that the one-way bearing that 1st gear rides on was locked up, thus not letting 1st gear free spin and allowing 2nd gear to take over. Like the other guys said, make sure its tuned right before jerking the tranny out.....if it's a new maxx I would have to go with tuning........
 
just bought a new tmaxx and i thought something was wrong also. but it wasn't. continude with the break in procedure and then leaned it out w/ the high and low poof. it wheelies,screems,powershifts fast it is my first mt and i love it. careful not to over tune it i also recomened the pinch test good luck
