Can u get gas off the internet?

hey guys, i was wondering if u were able to get gas off of the internet? i am all out and the lhs doesn't have any in right now. but i was thinking that because of the nitro and how it can explode that they wouldnt ship it out from different places?

Yes, you can purchase nitro over the internet. However, you will usually pay a large amount for shipping due to the HAZMAT issues with nitro (not to mention the explosive nature of the stuff under pressure). Most online hobby shops will give you the low down on their nitro fuel shipping policies and charges. Make sure you are sitting down when reading them...as they may be somewhat shocking.

I think you can but it has to be shipped in a special way really expensive I think.

lol, skymaxx i knew that was coming! k, i just looked on tower hobbies and they have it there, i am going to get it and see how much the price is.

The thing with shipping is that it can't be shipped in a plane. So it has to be shipped only by ground. So buy from a place that is close to you so you don't have to wait as long.

When I bought my first R/C, I got a quart of nitro...shipping wasn't really any different as far as price, it's just the limitations on how fast it can get to you.

We have to pay a $20.00 fee on any fuel we order at the shop. So buy it in bulk and its not to bad.
