can the wasp .28 do wheelies well? I'm looking for good top speed and wheelie power. i have 18/52 gearing.........will i be able to do wheelies? I'm looking to buy a roll cage also.........how heavy are they? will the roll cage effect my wheelies? i just wanna do wheelies and jump. is the wasp good at both??? can they keep a tune? r they wether sensitive like collari 30's? thanks!

i will get a cvec pipe too if that might help determin if it can wheelie.

Wheelies are only fun for 10 minutes. Then they suck...

yeah, whats up with you and wheelies?? There cool for like 10 minutes then just get to be a pain.. Like I told ya before, with the stock s-25 and a 52 tooth spur gear, ya should be riding wheelies all day. Mine does anyway and it kinda blows..

yeah, I hate that my truck pulls up so easy, i'm always chasing after it to put it pack on its wheels. i'm still trying to learn throttle control, and the addition of my 3 speed makes it harder.

sweet i can't wait to do wheelies...........but for exaust is the hot bodies hot rod pipe or the cvec pipe better???

Mark, the Wasp I have pulled wheelies in my savage all the time, but with your gearing they will be a little more controlable, but still easy to do. If you get annoyed with them then you can switch to a 49 or 47 spur. The CVEC is a very quite pipe and works great with the Wasp, its the exact tuned pipe I used on mine.

Wheelies OH BOY.....
WTF would you want to spend all that cash on something that just flips over on it's back and you have to walk over and flip it.....dude I think you need to get one of those radio shack RCs that just tips up on it's ass all the time...save yourself some dough......stop obsessing over wheelies and learn to drive....

Nothing wrong but when you are alone that is fun for a little time then you will want to do more things. I thought you were getting the Collari 30?

I gotta say you must have more money than brains dude......seems like you get a little info from people and do the opposite of what everyone is saying....3 people in this thread alone have said the wheelie factor is just annoying....hey it's your money....

turst me when I say this as getting a sirio 23 for my ole Maxx was cool but I found out I wanted to do more than just wheelie. Its a wow factor when you are watching but I realized that I needed to beef up the maxx more and that was not in my best intentions. Not sure what yours are but consider what will you be doing really ? Wheelieing or upgrading to make the savage run better not just performance through the engine. Suspension upgrades, maybe a cage to protect the engine, better tires? The list could go on and on. Somethings for you to consider.

If you're using the wheelie factor as some sort of guage of how it performs that's OK I guess...but just listen to the now 4th member in this thread saying that just pulling wheelies will bore you to death after 10 mins of it.....you will loose any hope of actually controlling it if you do this.....not trying to be a peepee jutssave you a buttload of money and frustration....

yeah i thought i was too.......i decided to get the wasp .28 and the rcs roll cage (savage is always gettin messed up). people were tellin me that u gotta tune it all the time and it weather sensitive (collari) in colorado one day its snowing and the next its 90 degrees out!!! i wanted something that holds a tune well and stays like that. a lil tune every once in a while is fine. but every time i thing i wuld be tunning it more that driving it. i got a engine that i figured wuld be perfect for me...i have been going back and forth about which engine to get sorry if its been annoying. i wuld rather drive my MT than tune it. the first tune i dont care how hard it is.......i just hate re doing it. a tune every time u drive it that varrys is rediculous. the collari is awsome motor and if i had patients i wuld of got it. i need to get better at tunning before i get that one...so i decided to try out the wasp...................

dude its cool i know ur just trying to help. i wanna do wheelies... and when that gets boring/annoying or n e thing else that i dont want... i will just change the spur. (if that effects the wheelies n e thing that is). but i defantly wanna have a engine capable of wheelies. people where saying their .25 engine could do em, mine couldnt. i got different spurs/CB if i get sick of the wheelies.

so with a 15T CB and 52T spur i will be doing good wheelies? if they get annoying like i said i will get a different spur gear that will keep it down. i got some extra spurs.(49T)

Save your $$$s, just hang a big weight off your rear bumper; it'll wheelie all day with a .21 motor. When you get bored, just take the weight off...
