It's a PTI Goliath. Marketed as 1/18 but more like 1/14 scale.

ah, I figured Rob or SD would chime in. They also make a kit for the goliath to bring it the wheelbase to 12 inches and I think it puts it at 1/10 scale but I'm not sure. It can make a decent crawler with some mods like changing some of the suspension, adding the PTI gear reduction unit, and extending the wheelbase.

it just seems to be real small for a crawler ecspeacily (can't spell) for something called the goliath .sounds like it should a giant.I mean i know exactly zero about rock crawlers. I will take a new pic with something to compare it to .

When PTI came out with the Goliath at first, it was designed to be a basher. Then people realized how great it crawled right out of the box, so PTI made a few very slight tweaks, and marketed it as the first RTR crawler.

Here's a link to the truck you have

Here's a link to the rock crawling extension package that you'll need if you intend to crawl with it. However, there may be other kits to look into by aftermarket companies.

Something else to consider is that you could probably buy an Axial crawler cheaper than spending the money to convert this to a capable rig, and the Axial will probably be twice as capable. This is just an idea, you might really want to upgrade this truck regardless of money. Let me know what questions you might have on here or through PM, I spend A LOT of time helping the new guys get started. I'm no veteran or anything, but I can get around a crawler pretty good and if I don't know the answer, I can usually point you in the right direction.
