Hi all. I'm hoping someone can tell me what this truck is. http://www.hachettepartworks.com/product.php?proID=1116420403 It was one of them subscriptions where you buy the first few issues nice and cheap from the newsagent, then you have to subscribe for the rest and pay through the nose for it. I did it anyway, was sort of like finance :hehe:

Anyway after finally building it i pulled the rip cord and the piston got jammed in the liner. I proceeded to lose my temper, pull it to bits to try and fix it, but got too annoyed and put it to one side. That was nearly 2 years ago and now I have decided to try put it back together but i've lost the build manuals :\ and my memory isn't that great :hehe:

So if I can find out what truck it is I may be able to find a diagram and work it out from there or something.

Thanks in advance
Jule

Thanks for the reply robmob. Unfortunatley I had a look at the parts in the link you provided and I think mine may be upgrade parts ie the clutch and clutch bell look different.

These are the parts I have leftover

And no matter what order i put them in I can't seem seem to get the clutch bell to turn freely

Thanks again for all help :)

If the clutch bell isn't shimmed right, it won't free spin.

Take the bearing off the crankshaft, put that in the clutch bell, put one of the shims on the crankshaft, put the cb on, tighten it down. Add shims and repeat as needed until it works correctly.

One of the screws, and the big washer shouldn't be needed, from what I can tell.

That engine and pipe look identical to the Associated .15 that came on my RC10GT version 1. Even the coupler is the same color. I think your engine was replaced at some point. With a pretty good one.

@ alien. Thanks for the advise mate. Trouble is those shims don't fit over the crank shaft. The hole in them is just big enough for the screw to go through :(

@Matt. The engine is the original as far as I know. It came in the kit I was buying weekly, a piece at a time. You can see the kit I was buying in my original post :)

Again, thanks for the help so far guys, it's much appreciated.
