hi i have a hpi savage 3.5 with a .25 engine in it and it needs new pull start,one way bearing and a new glow plug i also have a traxxas 3.3 engine with a faulty carb will i be able to swap the carbs over ie hpi .25 engine carb on the traxxas 3.3 engine.thank you in advane

The 3.3 isn't compatible with the 25 really... have you tried to see if the carb fits? My guess is that it's going to give you a lot more fuel/air than the 3.3 can deal with... that's if it fits at all.

The .25 carb throat is a larger diameter than the 2.5/3.3 carb. You would need to machine it down to fit the block and bevel the carb base for flywheel clearance in some instances depending on the flywheel and shimming you use.

i have had my .25 engine torn down and on inspection i noticed the piston,crank shaft,piston sleeve and the inside of the barrel is scorded realy bad so i am now looking for a cheap but working engine my limit is around £30/£40 maybe a little bit more any ideas on what i could get for that little money i have.thanks again dwayne
