So tomorrow we're going camping. I'm gonna bring my Maxx since we're going to be right next to the beach. I'm gonna see how much nitro I can burn in one sitting =devil

I hope my new 4500 mah sub-c gets here tomorrow... It's been a week since we ordered it and I need to charge it for my trip to the beach

So we were at the beach today. Right before we were about to leave I heard a loud weed-eater sounding noise. I looked around and what do you know... I saw a Baja 5B screaming through the sand. I have always wanted to see one running.

So, I ran over there and started chattin' it up with the driver and it turns out he has been into RC for around 30 years, AND that he lives like five minutes from my house. I went and got my Maxx out and we started screaming up and down the beach, flinging sand everywhere.

He had the SS tuned pipe on that thing and it is LOUD!! By the time I had arrived with my Maxx from the RV, there was a crowd of people standing on the porch at the restaurant (there is a restaurant next to the beach) cheering it on. When I fired up my Maxx (that Resonator is ALMOST as loud as the Baja ) They went wild.

Needless to say I had a lot of fun.

And Charlie, I can see what you mean when you say it's nothing like Nitro.

The baja is a different experience, and sure hope to be able to drive one one day...:yes:

Well I asked if I could try driving it but he said it was having a hard time in the sand. They had just done something to the sand and it was all hard packed and had lots of pocks and craters in it.
