I've been told that byron race fuel can basiccaly kill your engine because their is not enough oil in the fuel
is it true???:\

I haven't heard anything bad about Byrons so far. I've been wanting to try it but I haven't found it yet. Were you told be a reputable source?

:spit: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

That's a load of bull! Byron fuel is one of the best fuel out there!

Whoever told you that is a complete IDIOT.

i used it in my traxxas tmaxx engine and he told me that he had just sold two brand new traxxas trucks and they whent to the track and the people who bought the trucks got some byron fuel at the track and after a couple of laps something whent wrong with it and the guy sent them to traxxas and they sent him a letter complaining about the fuel that had been used in the engines.
soo i dont know what to do now :/

Yeah, I've burned over 8-10 gallons of the stuff over the past 2 years (if not more) and haven't had a single problem with it. A buddy of mine had a t-maxx with the 2.5R in it and it's what he ran after running about 500cc of trinity mhp fuel (all he had left) and that engine ran really good on the stuff. One of the engines I burned it in was the old TRX2.5 and it runs great on it.

I call BS on traxxas for that one. For any fuel that you run, you can run way too lean and burn up an engine. That's no fault of the fuel.

well ill have to change my fuel anyway becuase were i live the supplier that i used to get the fuel off has closed so i have to take it somewherelse and they sell diffrent fuel to byron fuel its monster fuel. thats what I've been told it is called

I run Byrons 20% with 16% lube. My trucks love it. I'm thinking about bumping up to higher nitro content though

If you are talking about Trinity Monster Horsepower, it is good fuel. My 3.3 loved it.
It has ran well in all my engines.
Fuel does not cause engine failures, Operator error and poor quality engine materials/ manufacturing tolerances are what kills them when they die that early.
I'd bet you those guys did not retune properly for the fuel swap.
Byron's is the most widely used fuel in the racing community, it's for a good reason too.

If they bought them and took them directly to the track, they probably weren't broke in. Sounds like newbs with more dollars then sense.
