Something I've always been curious about; what the heck is that little tab on the back of the rear H-Blocks for?

I believe they're for mounting mud scrapers for the inside of the rim.

Yep, ordered mine on Friday night from them. It will be here on Wednesday.

Starting from scratch, I spent $1,998.xx

I chose the Novarossi P5X mated with the Novarossi 9886 pipe and the long manifold.

I also choose the JR SX3 Pro and mated it with the 8800T & 8800S servos

Also picked up the Mugen Pro Starter Box.

and the rest are misc. stuff, charger, batteries, wheels, tires, glues, oils, etc, etc, etc.

I am really looking forward to building this thing. I just love projects.

I do not want to get into painting though nor do I have the equipment, SO does anybody know of people who paint bodys in the San Jose Bay Area?

CessnaDriver,

Great choices in your list! Very similar to mine (don't have the P5X, yet...). You're going to have a blast.

I'm the same way about painting. I have no interest in it.

Best of luck.

ZANDOR: From what I have heard the one negative about Mugen is the way they bag the parts.

Did you find that to be the case and what do you suggest for this?

Is is so bad that one should just dump all the bags into a huge tray and search for what you need?

Hey Plaidfish, if you check in, Zandor has a flower vase too! Last picture he posted, check it man! LOL

Z, looks good man!

Do you have a link of where I can see what they look like (curiousity)? Also, do they make any for the front wheels as well?

Lets just say you have to do a lot of bag chaseing...For screws and what not!

Sounds a lot like the PCR PRO build. Horrible packaging!

Mine was that way too - the good part was, the screws you needed were in previous bags 99% of the time, so what looked like a lot of leftovers turned out to be only like 2 screws and a washer... and I'm pretty sure they go somewhere critical.

I dont think any build could be as bad as that bro... During my PCR build, I came so close to throwing the damn thing in the trash.. There must have 3 addendums & 1 big bag-o-parts... That sucked...

I'm wondering if he stayed up and did the whole build in one shot (like I did). Probably took a nice coma after that, lol.

I finished the build the other day..And I am now waiting on my mill to come in...I still have to set cast and camber and ride hight..
