Can anyone help as why i am going through plugs like crazy . Am not running lean or rich . Bought a brand new plug today stuck it in 5 pulls didnt start took the plug out . Wrecked . Any help would be much appreciated .

I would check your bearings and rod, if either is worn out it will start eating plugs like you describe, how old and how much fuel is through it?

I've just put a new con rod in it . The engine its self is probably 6 months and about 4 gallons of fuel . Thanks .

That may solve the problem, if it doesn't I would do the bearings as well, the 4 gallon mark is a good point to do both anyways for normal maintenance.

Hi bud found out why was burning plugs the official Traxxas one's I've been gettin from my local are a dodgey batch . Hes just put his glowstarter on two brand new one's and blew em . So he give us four os plugs for free . Bin running it today and perfect . Apart from it won't stop wheelin for some reason . Thanks for the help .

It sounded LEAN at first til you said a bad batch of plugs...

Your better off with the OS plugs, the LC3 is my favorite plug hands down... They last forever and idle great...
