Since I have a new rig coming I figured I should finish up and put back together the one I'm working on.
So I'm sitting here trying to seal up the engine for my Nitro Rustler and convert it to roto start but I hit small problem. 2 actually. The starter shaft is worn and the drive gear for the roto start fell apart when I seperated the case to check it over. That ended my fun for tonight and since I'm bored with nothing to do,I thought I'd share :)

What I may do though, instead of ordering parts and fixing this engine, I think I'll put the Pro.15 pull start engine out of my son's T-Maxx in it. Maybe the lighter truck will be better for this engine.

I know running a 2.5 in my jato makes for really good performance vs having the 2.5 in a maxx or revo. I always thought the 2.5 was too small to put in a MT. In a lighter rig, it does a much better job.

You will probably find the same with the pro15
