bulkheads

broke my first bulkheads on the front of my rig. what are the best option for upgrades and are they hard to fix ?

You need to go with aluminum bulkheads. I would steer away from Integy since the are polished pot metal. Find some that are 6061 or 7075 grade metal. They will be the strongest, milled will always be better than cast. I got my Fast Lane Machine ones off of E-bay for a steal.

My favorites are still GA's 7075 bulk with braces kit. If they still sell them.
Golden Horizon and East End Machining are site sponsors. I've bought stuff from GH and it's pretty good stuff.

If those don't float your boat, Fast Lane Machine isn't a bad way to go.

+1 on avoiding integy. If your breaking stock bulks, you will bend/tweak integy bulks. Their screw holes are very easy to strip out as well.

but yea its not hard to replace but it will take some time so dont have any plans lol

i say put back the stock ones there cheap and light weighted

Yup I do disagree. Olds and I said no to Integy not to Aluminum all together. If he puts stock bulks back in he will just keep breaking them the same way. Why would you want to do that? The bulkheads on a T-Maxx are notoriously weak and brittle. Upgrading them is the only way to go unless you just like to fix it ALL the time. I do however, agree with plastic for A-Arms....RPM perferably. I am not hacking on ya...it just takes time to figure it out brother. Having had a few Maxxs in the day I have learned the weak spots.....over and over again....lol

+1 to Olds and Joe. Integy does suck but I will say this. Another friend of mine bought a maxx off fleabay and it came with integy bulkheads. He has hit some stuff pretty hard and they havent bent yet. That doesn't mean I would go out and buy a set of Integy by no means. Alluminum is the way to go just better quality all the way around. Fast Lane Machine has a lifetime warrenty with thiers. If you bend it, break it, or even strip a screw off in it they will fix or replace it.

With integy's, I bent a few sets and even busted the ears off that mount to the shock tower... with a stock shock tower! My main gripe with integy's were the weak threads. Considering the weakness of the old maxx diffs, I was pulling them out about once a gallon to replace them. After a couple tear downs, the threads in the bulks would strip out, then I was stuck with junk.
