ok I'm new to this site but not to nitro and i have replaced my plastic bulkheads for the last time I'm going to my LHS and getting me some aluminum bulkheads and ones to look out for I'm strictly a basher

yea i get mixed reviews about integy, r the solid bulkheads better than the oned with holes and openings is that just a lighter weight thing for racing
 
yeah, i've broken a few bulkheads. I've just stuck with the $7 plastic ones tho... they work for me and they're cheap
 
I second the GA ones . My Cyber-maxx has taken a few hits and everything else around them broke .
 
I have the FLM combo bulks, and they do not break :P I have had my radio lose signal (when I didnt have a fail safe) and crash into a curb at ~30mph full throttle. I broke 2 of the mounting screws that mount the bulks to the chassis, stripped out a turnbuckle end, and poped my pivot balls out of the knuckle. Put everything back together and drives just like it did before. They are damned pricy but they are well worth it.
 
All of the companies mentioned above make great products. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY INTEGY. Their products are sketchy, some decent and some not worth a crap. The problem is, their customer service is the worst in the industry, and they absolutely do not care if you're a satisfied customer after you buy the product. Customer service is very important to me, and after waiting for over a week twice with their ticket system, and being treated like they were doing me a huge favor by being in business, I realized that they didn't care about their customers.

EEM also has their own line of CNC machined bulkheads. I have some for my T-Maxx but I haven't run them yet. They are available in tons of colors.

I was dumb and went for the Traxxas alumninum bulkheads because that's the only ones my hobby shop had that were blue. I'm trying to go with a full blue theme since half of it was done for me. I do have a FastLaneMachine motor mount and their parts are very stout and well made.
 
i agree w/ everyone-even though i do have integy bulks on my o.s .18tm powered maxx-their the cheap ones to-but i havent ran into any problems-also have lunsford hinge pins.i havent tried others but prices do reflect what you get. make sure you use threadlock-i run red for bulk screws-b/c they will loosen up w/o threadlock.
 
Yes, they were way overpriced. I felt ridiculous paying that much for a part for a toy car ;) My girlfriend hates that thing.
