Hey everyone, just joined so ill be browsing around now. I have been searching around for a kit that I can buy and build myself, I even searched here but I can't really find anything pertaining to what I want. I would like to get a kit with everything in it that i can have some fun with assembling, I'm not planning on racing just something to mess around with. If any of you know a website or manufacturer that has some please let me know. And if there is already a thread that has this in it I'm sorry and please link me. thanks everyone!

U could always buy an rtr, pull everything apart down to the diff gears etc and put it back together. But not sure about build yourself kits. U could just get all the parts together u need and do a custom build, eg revo with diff motor, servos etc, or savage etc etc.

Do the build yourself kits even exist? I figured they would since I'm sure lots of people would enjoy it

i buy parts lots off ebay and try to build cars that could be bought rtr for very cheap. i normally do traxxas so far I've build 7.

Lots of 1/8th buggy/truggy kits out there, most kits do not include engine or electronics so the buyer can install his preference.
What type of rc you looking for?

I'm lookin for a car, not a buggy or truck. Maybe one I could slide around or drift with. If there are any rtr nitro gas cars that are good for drifting with I would be interested in knowing about those too. Thanks guys!

I didn't notice the Nitro part, here are a few electrics.

HPI Cup Racer

HPI Formula Ten

Then there is always Tamiya, I believe most if not all of there's are kits. Not sure on the durability of them though, I wouldn't bash with one but onroad is different. You could also get a buggy kit and throw some street tread tires on it.
