My brother has a pretty much stock Bot bodies lightning and his springs are VERY soft... He wants to know if anyone knows where to get medium-hard springs. What do you guys recommend in your buggies? my springs are perfect for me, but i don't know how hard they are.

Best way is to upgrade the springs to the same ones that are on the Lightning2pro.. Which are alot stiffer and the right lengths..
The part numbers are C8034-1 back springs
C8033-1 front springs

As you will know the back springs are longer than the fronts..
I hope this helps
Andy

I want some dual rate springs. Nice and soft in the bigginingfo the high speed absorption, and stiff as hell in the end for the big jumps. Any suggestions on that?

proline do a dual rate setup have a nosey but dont no if its what you want,
Question why do you people want rock hard cars, do you guys take all the bumps out of your tracks, over here the blue kyosho springs (soft) seem to work the best on most tracks..............

I don't want a rock hard car. I want to be able to lower it as low as it can go for cornering, take the big jump, and not bottom out. I also want it to absorb the bumps on the straight, andrest of the track. That is why I was thinking dual rate springs might be the way to go, and thought maybe I would give it a try.

well, his springs are so soft that he bottoms out if you drop it from like 8 inches away... and thats bad cuz it can damage parts on the inside of the car if you jump too high. heres my track (next post)
