i have an XTM XT2 and i have recently bought another on ebay.

I know that these buggys only have basic grease in their diffs and i would love to have some help on a decent bashers oil setup for them. They have the 3 diff setup and both have the XTM 24.7 engines.

These would primarily be used on a large grassy area with a hill for a decent jump.

Also i have no idea what oil goes in the shocks.

I live in the uk and if anyone knows of a good online store i can order from it would be most useful. If not i can ask my dad to go into the LHS and get some there.

I just want a simple list of things to get really.

Also is there compatibility between different buggy shells as i think i'll need another colour shell to prevent confusion while running them together.

Thanks

Michael

Ok i've found out which diff oil setup i need

http://www.rc411.com/pages/howto.php?howto=24&page=1

this site helped me choose my diff oil setup, i'm going for the starting setup.
5k, 7k, 2k (F,C,R)

now for the suspension i think the 40wt oil should do the job.

I think going for a hump pack is probably a good idea. 1200mah venom pack goes for around £10 and the charger with the pack is £20 so i'll get 2 one for each buggy.

i've heard somewhere that XTM and CEN and GV models share parts, can anyone offer any info as this would make spares easier to find.

Thanks in advance

Michael

I also have an XTM buggy and run 2k front/7k center and maybe 1k or stock rear. use 40 weight oil in the front shocks and 30 in the rear. I found this works best for me. If you really want more info on the XT2, go to www.globalhobby.com and check out their forums. Best place for info on all XTM products.

Thx

thanks for the advice.
I'll go onto the xtm forum and seek advice there.
