Is it OK to use the lower suspension arm allen key stop's to adjust the ride height. ? I know this is what they are used for however in practice I would of thought that a buggy chassis needs to be "floating" with the ride hieght naturally set by the shocks to allow the suspension to take holes in the track. i.e. the tire to move down into the hole without taking the chassis with it.

I have use mine to lower the suspension a bit and have not noticed any detriment other than the chassis being scratched to hell under the screw.

The ride height is determined by how much preload you use. Different shock oils and spring tensions determine how fast the shock returns to its neutral position. If you want to lower your ride remove preload if you want it higher add preload.

I say use them. They don't make them for looks. Well unless you are adjusting ride hieght to set one the shelf. HA HA HA !!!!
