I'm about to spend some serious cash and I need someone's opion on wether to by an Ofna Ultra 9.5 MBX 1/8 scale or a 1/8 scale GS Storm Unlimited sut. Please help me on a decsision. I've been racing since I was 9 yrs old. I'm now 28. It's time to play with the big boyz... I'm worried if I get a buggy I'm limited to the offroad play but then againg pushing 13 lbs over jumps could dip into my pocket. Which is more fun? Buggy or Truck

I think buggy's are more fun! They don't break as often, and are durable as hell!! I have a supermaxx, and I'm thinking about selling or trading it for another buggy. Well see?? Just my .02

Woody

I agree with Woody. I would go with the buggy, and if you're concerned about versatility for the street, you can get street tires for buggies, and set the droop screws on most of them to lessen chassis roll (harder cornering on pavement). As far as maintenence, buggies are roomy, and everything is easy to get to.

I would also go with the buggy. Its a racing machine and trucks are trucks. Buggies are quicker more nimble and can be set up with more options and precision.

Thanx I'm gonna go for it.... The buggy is so choice... :boxing: I have one last question... Can you put a 2.5 on road 1/10 scale tire and rim on a buggy... I think that wood be cool??? Anyway thanx again

Does anyone have any action shots or mpegs they could post of the actual Ofna Ultra 9.5 MBX rtr... This thing could just turn my life around

www.slapmafro.com They have some vids of the SUT. Farm Bash 7 part 2 has some footage of the SUT gettin some serious air. The vid Rabid has some footage of it on the track. Almost all of their last 7 or so videos have the SUT in them.

I would buy the SUT, but I already have a Monster truck, so my next car is gonna be a buggy.

go with the buggy you won't be disapointed..not only can they be set up for raceing.on and off road...they are very durable.. :buggy1:

The SUT is a Truggy - it's got tires like a monster truck but it runs like a buggy. It's not your typical Monster truck - it's just a modified Storm.

I would go with a buggy if you don't have one, because they are a lot of fun. But since the SUT is basically a buggy, it's a fun ride too. One of the guys at the local track has one and it looks pretty cool =)

The SUT is one hell of a performer, a buddy just got one and bashes the hell outa it with Savages and T-Maxxs it hold its own very well, very tough and fast and jumps better than the other MTs.It impressed alot of us!
