I bought a r/c car from a friend who referred to it as a truggy. It has a truck body, wing, truggy hubs, and appears to be a S.U.T.

Is there a way to tell the difference? Anything that is a dead givaway?

I might add that the hubs that are on it already are buggy type.

I don't know but I bought it w/o a motor and minor stuff for $40.

yes.

It looks almost exactly like the sut, minus the plastic bottom tray.

and the tires.

I even have the truck body. However has the wing so, ???

Must truggy guys are running wings these days. I would count the teeth on the spur gear, is the throttle servo mounted up high (spacer under it?) What brand is it? Is the center diff mounted up off of the chassis? Those are the most obvious standouts of a SUT.
