Got a question for those hardcore football fans out there...

Back after the September 11th attack on the world Trde center in New York, Anheiser Bush (sp?) was running a very special commercial during select veiwing periods, including during the SuperBowl.

The commercial featured a Winter scene across the river from the location of the spetmber 11th attack. A carrige trailed by the infamous Budweiser Clydesdales along a snowy road. There are several shots of the procession while they are troting. At the end, the caraige and horses reaches a spot across the river from where the WTC used to stand. One by one the horses all bow thier heads and raise a hoof in a "curtesy" motion. A bright white light then shines up into the sky from Ground Zero.

This is a LOOOOONG shot, but I know I have seen the poster for this comercial on Ebay, and budweiser used to offer it. I have wanted to get one of these prints since I saw the comercial, and it is getting to be one of those little things that keeps you up at night for me. This print is something very special, and I would still love to get my hands on one. Does anyone have ANY information on where I can pick one up? I have tried Ebay, even called Budweiser, all to no avail.

Someone Help!

I have a picture of the lights from ground zero but not the poster but that does sound like something that is very special

Let me see what I can find out, Tweak. A co-worker of mine's husband works for an AB distributor here in Cincinnati. Let me see if he can hook you up. I'll be in touch!

Seriously, if you guys never saw the comercial, I think it would really touch you... I think I was something like 15 at the time, had just gotten home from the Dairy Farm I worked at when I saw it. I will -never- forget that one single scene.

No, I know exactly the ad you are referring to. I didn't know they made a poster from it.

Gimme a little time to find out what I can. Being the holidays are upon him, he tends to get pretty busy.

Later,
Wrench!

Well, I guess it's not exactly the way I remeberd it... oh well it is still a damn good comercial, if there ever was one.

Jeff...It isnt the Budweiser commercial poster but this painting has some sentimental value to it for the wife and I. Its all about 911. It looks way better in person.

That is really an amazing piece of art Keith. I guess it is just the whole Military thing but I have grown extremly patriotic in the past few years.

Kudos for good spirit man, i love it. (where did you get it?)

My wifes cousin paints them. Her name is Ruth Martin. The last i heard she stop painting them cuz of problems in her hands. She did this one too.

So you think you cold get me some info on a print since I bought your wheels ? ;)

If she really stopped paintin 'em don't worry about it, but if she feels up to it I could "commision" a few before the holidays end...

LMK man.
