ok i am thinkng about another electric truck or buggy. Gonna keep the budget at 500 for this one. I know thats normally enough for batteries and a motor but i don't want to get carried away with this. no radio gear needed. lets get some ideas rolling.

You think a Losi Speed-T would fit the budget? With a li-po and brushless, not much could catch it.

not really looking for another stadium truck really. i don't think anything else will impress me after the firestorm.

esavage maybe....

I don't think you're going to be able to build an E-Savage that will perform anything like your firestorm on the budget you have. I just bought an HV Max brushless system for my Revo, which is what you would need if you wanted a brushless system, and I gave $300 for the system, and $250 for the batteries.

However, the slash would make a great candidate, and you could put a sidewinder system in it for $120

now i feel cheap. there goes the budget.....

charlie. are you sure the 8000's will fit the esavage?

well i just picked up (2) 2S 8000Hv lipo's for this project. they will fit the firestorm too so the 6000 Hv is going on TC5 duty.

me thinks e-savage. i'll get the sport and then the novak HV setup sometime this month

Budget, psshttt...yeah...I knew that @#$% wouldn't last. The nerve of some people, coming in here trying to pinch pennies. You should have known better!

Speaking of builds, you will die when you see what I've done with this little RC18, it's way too damn fast to run and I've not even utilized max settings or a 3s LiPo. I did use the castle link to update the firmware and start programming. The mamba systems are starting to show that they are worth every penny with the castle link, I'm amazed.

haha, i figure i better do it right the first time.

That little sucker screamed when i had it so i can't imagine how it is now. Solid truck for sure.

The new plan is e-savage sport, max amps 8000hv 2S lipo's, novak HV 6.5, spektrum radio gear.
