I have thought about purchasing the Novak brushless system for my T4. I was more interested in it for run time and low maintenance. The truck is mostly used for playing around at the track and only raced like 1x a month or so. I was thinking of the stock brushless, not the modified (both have the same ESC though). I was wondering, could I hook up a brushed modified motor to that brushless ESC?

The Novak Super Sport Plus is good for Novak's two standard BL motors as well as for brushed 540 motors down to 12 turns.

The SuperSport (non Plus)is only good for BL,not for brushed motors.Unless I am mistaken.

If you have the original ss not the plus, you cannot use a brushed motor.

The new gtb brushless speedo is supposed to have the lowest resistance in brushed mode than any other speed control out there. I can't wait till that system comes out. :hammer:

Or just wait a month or so and see theNovak GTB. It will do brushless and brushed. It seems to be close the GTX in size but it can do a whole lot more. I want to go brushless as well but I have alot of brushed motors that I use quite a bit. I want something that can handle either and Novak has come up witn the solution.

LRP has the Sphere and the Reedy Neo, I think it's called, coming out soon as well.

Definatley worth while to give them a look at their respective websites.
