iv got a Brushed 540 motor in my offroad truck and i wanna upgrade it to a brushless , what other parts will i need to upgrade so , and will there be any changes in speed or anything if i upgrade ?

thanks

amd could anyone suggest a good brushless moter thanks that would work

You will need a brushless capable esc to go along with the brushless motor. As for performance, you will notice a huge gain in speed and power. Let us know what size rig you plan on upgrading and we can help you out.

its a 1/10 4wd offroad truck

nothing over the $100 mark

Powerful Brushed 540 motor
4WD centre drive shaft
Front and rear shock absorbers
Hi torque Steering Servo
7.2v 1800mAh Ni-MH battery

What brand and model of truck is it? Some of the less expensive brands have drive-trains that are not strong enough to handle brushless power. They can strip out transmission gears as well as differentials. The drive-shafts can also snap under a decent brushless set-up. That being said, I run the Fuze 5800kV set up in my SCX-10 and really like it. They run about $140 retail.

Seems to me he didn't want to give that info. He'd rather tell us that it has shock absorbers front and rear.

The simple answer would have been to give us the make/model.
