I just pulled the entire cord and knot ( In Tact ) out my Picco .26 in my Savage . Is it fixable or do I need a new pull start ??

Yea everthing is in tact, never did this before. I will pull out motor later just need alittle assitance on the actual install. Do I just wrap cord around ??

if u need any help pm me and ill send u some pics or ill make a little vid

glad it helps id quite happily make a vid of anything if any one needs to know owt .and if so ill make them a bit better than that cuz that one took ten mins:w00t:

Pull starts aren't that bad to rebuild. Just take your time and be patient when the spring flys out and hits you in the face.

Hell, I find it easier sometimes, depending on the design, just to let the spring fly out. Then I clean it and the case, rewind, then put it back in and re-oil it.

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about but if the not on the rope ripped through the whole in the wheel and wont hold any more, then either make the not bigger, or drill a new, smaller hole in the wheel, easy fix
