Broken Hub

Alright, i was running the revo today and all of the sudden the wheel fell off lol, i was like "wtf?" So i thought i just lost the bolt but when i get to the truck, the whole hub was off, i brought it inside, and i see that a hex pin goes in, and then theres a little screw on top of the hex pin, my problem is that the screw on top of the hex pin is stripped :\

Oh man that sucks....if I was you I would just drill it out and re-tap the threads if it would not go. On think I do and have decent luck with is to use a torks bit (star) that wil just barely fit in the give it a little hammer action to give it some good bite then try to twist it out.....good luck brother.

EZ outs! Buy at any hardware store. Kind of like a reverse drill bit, only it doesn't drill a hole. The threads grab in the hole while you drill in reverse and back the screw right out! PURE GENIUS!

So... what happened? The hex pin broke and fell out and now your stuck with the equivalent to a stripped grub screw?

If so, you should be able to take a small drill bit that will fit inside the hex and slowly/gently drill into it and it might thread through into the axle hole and come out.
