i was out bashinf yesterday and after a pretty hard landing i noticed that the engine noise when through the roof. apon inspection i saw that i had snapped the header off at the mount (i am currently running with the lowered setup). i am wondering if this is common and if the spring mounted header will fix this problem.

if it is bolted on, then yes, a spring will significantly reduce the pressure that is affiliated with header snappage. It will basicly work as a shock absorber, but you will have to keep an eye on the rubber bushing that sits between the header and the engine as the movement and vibration will wear the rubber down over time.

It was common for me. I busted 3 or 4 headers from hard landings. I ended up buying a 18TM which came with a spring type header and I never had an issue again. At least not with the header...
