Broken Differential

Is it better to replace an axel or repair a diff, I'm down to 3wd. This is the axel I just replaced.

In that case, I say, "What's the diff?"
We need a lot more info about your rig and how you keep blowing parts.
A lot of ppl break axles from oversized tires and too large motors and batteries.

If the axles are black and have silver streaks you probably spun it too. Best case it won't last as long, worse case it may have too much slop.

Axial deadbolt II, 35T motor, 2S battery, 1.9 wheels. Was crawling over cement rubble and the right front wheel got pinned between two chuncks. Just noticed the right front was free wheeling. Think I broke the axel shaft. Need to do an autopsy to confirm.

Dying to hear autopsy results. Seems odd that it would break an axle in stock form. Maybe it broke the drive pin behind the wheel hex?
