man... lemme tell you about today.... took the hbx out for a rip, burnt thru 2 packs and as I'm headed to the house a car passes me and i decide to race em... well i was winning but then i ran into a parked car... kablooey..
like i say in vid easy fix for real.
but i have other cars so I'm not worried..
put some tires on the bouncer, the hub is huge so most of my rims dont fit, got lucky and the wheels from the ecto ('the old man") take it for a bash and notice i have a shock just hanging loose.. ripped it free.
so i swap them both out for a set of the elements that came on the ecto, its running again yaaaaaay!!
but wait theres more.... i rip around the dirt drive and am headed back to the house again.... (pattern forming) hit the curb, rolls right over doesn't seem to be a bad hit other than was head on and not at an angle.. but wait whats that tinking sound?? why its my steering links of course
little bummed out but i am rough on em and honestly i enjoy the repairing when I'm able to finally understand how to do it so I'm not tooooooo upset..
then i get the set of front wheels for the cen in. o yeah forgot to ever order the right size tires.. fml will i not stop ?? no theres more work to be done, so i take the old man, my last running truck out to the course. run for 20 mins, have a blast. go to leave... headed to the house.... o snap. you guessed it.. drove into some tall grass and I'm guessing it wrapped around the axle or driveshaft? i gotno go now. it makes a gears grinding sound. I'm about to pull apart some stuff and things to see the actual damage. I'm guessing i stripped out a gear.
cen-- down for tires
basecamp-- down for axle repair
bouncer-- down for link repair
ecto-- down for trans repair..
scx24-- down for esc issue
ax24--- well it works but only because my son wont let me play with it... smart kid
