i get a lunch and two breaks at the office!!

setup your trims and linkages properly before firing up the engine.
usually bias is set to grab better in the rear. i believe the Storm has one disc (front and rear), you should have a lil play at neutral so that the drivetrain doesn't seize when you let off the gas, and you don't nose dive on jumps. occasionally, strip em off and clean/sand/clean to get a better grip. also, carbon disc is an option.

Depending on how old your brakes are, you may just need to adjust them or replace the pads, by tuning them I am assuming thats what you mean, If your storm brakes are old, just replace the pads, Thats all I did and it made a world of difference, on your brake linkage you have two knearled set screws that will adjust and fine tune your brakes(pictured) I usually keep my radio in my hand (on) and adjust them so they are completly free in the neutral posistion, then just adjust them to your liking, I wouldnt make them grab too tight, unecesary and just puts extra wear on your pads. under the picture is a 2 great links for lots of storm info! Good luck!
