I'll keep that in mind. So my next tank will be driven, what kind of minimum temp do I want to see? 180? 200?

200F is a safe bet. Running the engine blubbery rich and cooler than 180F is a sure fire way to crack a piston, bend a rod... All that excess fuel does not compress, it just strains the engine internals. Get it to run clean but take it easy on the throttle. That's the key to a well broken in engine.

Thanks. I ran a tank today and it seemed to be a good first run. Just as with the second tank I had to lean out the LSN a bunch just to get her started. I pretty much didn't go by the RB manual at all for this tank just because I simply couldn't get it to run at those settings. I ran it 1.5 turns leaner on the LSN ( had to close the idle some to compensate), but with the factory HSN setting. Any throttle input more than half was basically useless because it wouldn't rev anymore anyways. I imagine that is a good thing at this point. The highest temp I got was 195* and it was 192* when I shut it down.

Lean the HSN until it can move the car pretty easy.

Well, I'm gonna try to stick to what the RB manual says. I'm going to run two more tanks the way it is now before I start to lean it out.

That's fine. I just wanted you to know where you're going next.
After you've been through the whole break in process, don't tune it for best performance either on the low or high till you've gotten at least another half dozen tanks run through it.
Just remember, it still won't be close to it's peak till it's seen over a gallon.

Just ran the 4th tank. This thing just doesn't want to start at the LSN setting I'm running it at. The manual is waaay off on the setting. Book says 5 turns out for the LSN but I can't get it to start unless it's at 3.25. So anyways, I ran it for a couple minutes at the same HSN setting as last time and 3.25 out on the LSN. Just a lot of back and forth, easy on the throttle type stuff. Trying not to get too many rpms going. I temp checked a couple times and it was similar to tank 3 @ sub 200* so I decided to lean the HSN by a quarter. Obviously I saw a dramatic improvement on power and temps finally got above 200*. A couple passes later I temp checked again and I got a max of 235*. I didn't really want to see it quite that high yet even though I was going very easy on the throttle and still wasn't going past 75% I'd guess. So I richened both the HSN and the LSN a tad. At this point I was back at 3.5 on the LSN and it was definatly gurgly up untill 1/2 throttle. I'd say that's about as rich as the LSN can be run. Ran it like this for a coupl more passes (probably only 1 minute or so) until it ran out of fuel. Final temp was 216*. A good day I'd say. She's probably cool enough to drop some ARO in and I'll be looking forward to tank 5.
