hey guys,

I just got the revo last night... i charged eveyrhting up and i went to start it today and the motor wouldnt turn. so i took it to my lhs and the guy said the fly wheel was to compresssed and so he loosend it up and played with it a little and then it started.. i did my first tank of break in.. then i let him finish and i waited like 30 min and went to start it again and it was jammed... is this like a prob..or is it just easy start and what should i do?

thanks in advance.

I've got pullstarts on mine and really like them, but if you want to keep your ez start make sure your piston is at the bottom of the stroke (BDC) when you bump the ez start. If it locks up take out the glowplug out and shake the excess fuel out of the cylinder, then start from BDC again.

While I was breaking-in my Revo, I had to loosen the glow plug slightly, 1/8 turn, due to the tight fit of the piston/sleeve in the new engine to get it to start, tighten it back up after it starts of course. I've got roughly a gallon on the engine and still do this to make starting easier and the battery pack stays charged longer for the starting unit. Hope this helps ya...........Enjoy it, they are a tough truck....LOL

Like bashaholic said, you may run into some problems at first. Once the engine is broken in, it should turn over without much of a problem. Just try rolling the flywheel backwards with your thumb so that it gets a rolling start from the EZ-start.

yeah i will try all this tommoro..i really appreciate it guys thanks a bunch ill have more info tommoro.
