Hello

I have just put all my engine back to factory settings but when i did this the brake leaver now comes on to much when you accelerate, so you get braking when you are trying to accelerate.

the brake adjustment screw is set just slightly on (barely anything)

Any ideas?

I'm not sure how putting your engine back to factory settings may have impacted your brake setting.
Can you provide a picture?

Is it possible that you altered the throttle trim setting on your radio so that the servo arm may have moved enough to alter where your brake arm sits?
You may want to ensure that the throttle trim is set to neutral.
Have you thought about or tried adjusting the brake arm by popping the throttle/brake arm on the servo and resetting it's neutral position?

hello TGL

I have gone through my settings on my control, seems to have every thing ok, not sure what it did what it did, but have adjusted a few things by 1% here and there and seems to make a little difference, so hoping to get it all sorted tomorrow.

The little arm is slid down too far in that bar that goes to the brakes. The wire from the servo to that arm should be parallel to the ground If it isn't, then the angle causes it to bind in the servo horn and instead sliding through the horn, it's binding on the wire and pushing the brake arm when you apply gas.

This is mine, notice how the wire is almost parrallel to the ground:

You would also benefit from the brake linkage mod (like mine) as it allows for more accurate adjustments since it removes a lot of slop. You end up replacing the servo saver thing on the throttle servo with a solid horn.

Here's a link to a "how to":
