I have been shooting my .22 rifles a lot lately and decided I wanted to try a pistol. I wanted something fun and cheap so this little guy seemed like a good choice. It's a Heritage Rough Rider single action .22 revolver, it comes with one cylinder for 22 LR, long, shorts, CB caps and one cylinder for .22Mag bullets, can't wait to shoot it!

Congrats, nice looking piece. Nice thing about a wheelgun is they'll shoot rat shot, which is great for snakes, or burning a dogs ass up without killing it. :D

Nice lookin gun! Those are fun and cheap to shoot! How much did you pick it up for if you dont mind me askin?

It was $179.99 from Academy Sports!

Now that's what I call a gun. Long barrel revolver.

I have always liked revolvers and as soon as I saw this one I had to have it...I felt like Wild Bill shooting it LOL

Surprisingly, with all the guns i own/have owned, I've never had a .22, lol. That thing looks awesome for a lil plinker. Been thinking about getting a marlin .22 rifle. or a ruger 10/22.

The best thing about a .22 is 550 rounds for around $20, thats hard to beat when you just feel like shooting for the heck of it. I have a Ruger 10/22 and a Remington .22 Field master pump and I would recommend either one! The Remington is a nicer and a little more consistent and it's the one I hunt with, the 10/22 is for slinging lead as fast as the finger can pull. You can't go wrong with the marlin either thats what I shot as a kid, it doesn't like when you mix shorts and longs but it will eat through longs with no problem!

I also love shooting 22s. Nice looking gun. I have a 22 bear cat revolver that I love to take plinking. If you want a nice semi auto look at the ruger mk 2 or 3.

I loved the Ruger 10/22 that I shot as kid. Lots of fun and a very low cost for ammo.

A friend of mind has the same gun they are a riot! I can shoot a .22 all day and it doesn't cost a arm and a leg. Here is my new pocket rocket.
