Is there a way to take the paint off a old body without messing the plastic up? My old NXT body is classic and I can't seem to find another and I dont like the XXX-NT or other ones as much. My orange paint from when I was 9 held up well but has took a beating. I donno let me know. Thanks

Yes, you can use brake fluid. I just recently stripped and repainted a FG lid, it took 3 bottles of fluid though, lol. You will need a large enough bucket or utility sink that you can fill the inside of the lid with fluid, it will need to soak in to the paint real good to soften it up. You will at least need to put it on real heavy and keep brusjhing on more brake fluid using a cheap paint brush until the paint softens. Then use a soft cloth to start wiping the paint off once it's soft. To get in to the small cracks I use a chop stick from my local chinese buffett, the wood won't scratch the lexan and will be able to get in to the nooks and crannys. After you get the paint off, clean the lid real well with denatured alcohol, then clean it again, then once more, you don't want any brake fluid residue left on the body before you repaint it. It's a real pain in the ass but it can be done.
