i usually get lazy around my 2nd or 3rd run and stop using the body, unless things get dusty. is it ok to run without the body cover on?

The body provides quite of bit of protection. Besides, you paid for it. Might as well have your vehicle lookin' as good as it can.;) Lazy can lead to a lot of problems in this hobby.

yupp, i did pay for so i should probably get my money out of it! and yeah laziness is a bad habit to get into with this hobby

+1. And it covers all the expensive stuff up. I'd rather have the roof hittin' the ground than my air filter or head.

You really should run the body to protect the engine and other vitals like Meatlhead Matt said.
