What can I use to stiffin up, or better support the holes that are cut in the body for the posts. I'm sure when bashing there is going to be a lot of stress at those hole points. So, I'm just trying to fiqure a way to lesson the damage.

Someone makes a plastic doughnut that you can put double sided tape on, and stick it to the under side of the body aligned with the body post hole.

Shoo Goo and a piece of scrap lexan. You can cut a piece of lexan large enough to glue to the inside of the body over the existing holes, then drill your post holes. Now the lexan will be double thick at those points.

Use the Traxxas body mount cushions. I use those or the AE ones for all my rigs.

I don't do any thing on mine...Just bash it!!
Good excuse to go and get a new one:)

heres how i strengthen the mounting holes in a body..........when I'm cutting out the body i save some of the good flat peices of the clear plastic.......i lay a nickle on the clear cutout excess and trace around it and cut that out.....i make several disks.......after i have cut the round clear disks i drill a hole in the center of all of them to make sort of a washer & set them aside.......these are crazyglued to the inside of the body where the body mounts go through after the body is painted.......I've nerer had a mounting hole crack or the mount come through even when i did a 5ft jump landing acidently on the top of the body.......

Thanks guys, I have alot to work with now. Although I like Zandors the best lol

In the last issue of RC Car Action, I saw a tip where you lay a ring of RTV around the post hole on the underside (obviously) to cushion it.

Haven't tried it yet, but think I'll give it a shot.

Doesn't the crazy glue remove or damage the paint?
