Well I want a new body, so I can paint it myself or find one thats painted differently than the one i have now

I currently have a OFNA Ravager 1/8

I can't find any clear bodies maybe I'm just not looking hard enough
and the painted ones they offer are just the same as I have now just diff colors
mine is cracked and i really dont feel like fixing it

if I can find a clear body that would fit it, I would also like to find someone to give it a bitching paint job
if anyone knows where i can get a clear body and or has awesome painting skills let me know ( =

Oh completely off topic, but I was wondering should I drop the cash to get a stainless steel screw set for my rav?

Stainless steel screws suck, they strip and snap easily. Black Oxide hex screws are the only way to go.
The 9.5 series buggy body comes in clear but I cannot find a definite answer as to whether or not it fits. It looks the same in pics. Contact Ofna.

Black oxide screws are standard mild steel with a hard coating, stainless steel is meant to be harder and longer wearing than mild steel and lacks the need for a hard coating.

On the other hand, any screw or bolt will snap if tightened too much, especially if the material is sub standard. The worst screw kits are the "lightweight" screw sets available. Easily rounded out heads and as bendable as bananas.

I have been using stainless steel screws/bolts etc for years, never had so much as a snapped bolt. It all comes down to quality. Although, theses days, stainless steel has less chromium in it for some odd reason making the stainless steel slightly "softer" than it used to be.

Yes, i know it is off subject, but i thought i would throw in my :2cents: worth
