I know this may not be the right forum for this, but the marine section doesn't get alot of hits. I'm looking into getting a nitro boat and was curious if anyone had any suggestions as to what to get. I've been around nitro trucks but never really looked into boats until now. Any input would be great. Thanks guys

If I was to buy one, Id by the Vortex. Thing looks VERY awesome and has gotten rave reviews. The Miss Bud and Miss LLumar are good ones too.

I was checking out the shockwave 36 nitro. My buddy bought a traxxas nitro vee, its okay but the shockwave looks cooler. I've just got to find some reviews!

go to http://www.aeromarinerc.com. they have some hull and hardware combo packages. they also have ready to run packages that come out the same price as you putting the boat together. unlike r/c cars, boat assembly instructions are only blueprints.

i have a shockwave 36 and love it. i have many nitro rc's and the motor in this thing is one of the most reliable i own. if you hop over to rcuniverse they have a dedicated shockwave thread with lots of good info on it. like any RTR of any form there are a few things to be "fixed" on it, basically tweaking, but after that its incredibly fast and reliable. mine runs 30+ no matter what the water conditions, and 35+ on smooth water.
