I finally got one. Been wanting an electric for some time and haven't heard anything bad on this one.

I have flew fixed wing for about 10 years now. Don't do bad at that.
Feel like I am starting all over now though.

Just trying to fly it in the kitchen right now. Having a blast.

Already broke one top blade. Trimmed the other side off and flew it once like that. Going to try it again as soon as the battery charges. I know I need to get blades, but the hobby shop is closed and I'm having way too much fun.

Anyone got any tips?
What do I need for extra parts? (Blades and an extra battery for sure.)
It wants to rotate when I power up. Is this normal?

The rotating is normal. All helis' do that until the gyro kicks in. It could also be that the trimmed rotor isn't supplying a proportional amount of rotational mass. Other than blades, I can't think of any spares you'd need, aside from a battery or two.

Yeah I just got a bottom blade. They are cheap though. Easy to find, even here.
Kitchen is too small. Want to get it on the deck, but it's too windy. Got to have at least one more battery.

Man the little bugger is fun. I haven't been able to hover much and just trying to barely get off the ground so I don't tear anything up.
