I've been drooling over the Nuova Faor factory RC supermoto a lot lately. This is about as scale as it gets for an RC bike, I'd come back to nitro for one of these bad boys.

That RC bike is about a grand as it sits and the upgrades are unreal.
The Thunder Tiger bikes that I have are 1/5 scale. This one is 1/4 scale.
That's the top of the line Thunder Tiger bike in front.

Well, after reading about it, at least the bike is obtainable for me at some point LOL.

I didn't know you had other RC bikes Rolex, I think I'm about to take the RC bike plunge, been fighting it long enough. :D

I have 2 Thunder Tiger 1/5 scales as of about a month ago. The electric is ready to go and the nitro is almost set. I'll be converting the electric to brushless Lipo, eventually, as well as an upgrade on the nitro engine.

That 1/4 scale Nuova Faor bike is also available in a brushless version.

Well, how is it driving one? I hear it takes practice to say the least. Say the brushless NF, but that exhaust on the nitro is a work of art, of course if I ever buy one, I'll have ship it off to Robin at ECM for a proper exhaust system. I wish there were more bike guys around, I'd love to get into some RC bike races.

I'm going to move some of these posts. We've added bikes to the air and marine forum. I just don't want to get this thread TOO far from the rails. :hehe:
I'll give you some more info there.

I haven't had a chance to run one yet, but I recently read that I'm in for an interesting learning curve.
If I read everything right, I'll have to reverse my steering servo. On a real bike, leaning will take the bike in that direction. Now, here's the new logic. When you turn the steering to the right, the bike will fall left. :hehe:
Absolutely right, since a right turn will cause a left lean. It all makes sense. What I don't know yet is if I have to turn into the turn once the bike is at a lean. Can't wait to find out.
That what the crash bars are for.

Cool, an RC bike section!

Yep, counter steering, just like a real motorcycle or bicycle even. I'm gonna pick one up, I've wanted one forever, and I've sold off a bunch of un-used stuff the past week. I'll probably go dirt bike so I can run it around here at the house though, at least for now. What was I thinking, asking if you had actually ran one of your RC's. :hehe: If I can actually figure out how to run the thing around for more than ten seconds, we should get together for some bike running sometime.

EDIT: Also, Chris Haertel has an awesome RC bike site with lots of tips and tricks, cool videos, builds, etc. And an article explaining counter steering in great detail as it relates specifically to RC bikes.

I just took a quick look there and bookmarked it. Looks like some golden information. I've looked for bike forums but they seemed pretty vacant.
Hopefully we can start attracting some new members here.
Bikes are so totally different from the 4 wheel part of this hobby that we really need a good group to share info with.

I ran almost daily till late '05 when the local track closed and I moved.

Oh god! Have a look at that thing! I want a nitro bike, been holding off for a while but after seeing that, I'm weakening....
