The gray box definitely has more room in the lid to stuff the wiring, just remember that the grey also has a little bigger overall footprint if that’s a concern.
Nitro, if you split the antenna post on the black box, the stock antenna nut from the grey box fits it quite well and holds the tube in place a lot more securely than just pushing the tube in.

That's good to know, it beats gluing the tubes in!
I just glued the tube in the black box that I'm still using, I got tired of it popping out.
Your right the grey box does have a larger footprint, I forgot to put that in the other post.
