i have a 21 conversion kit on my maxx with a 24.7 pro i am aiming towards getting a picco .26 outlaw or a wasp .28 which would you go with

If you're still having problems with stripping stuff, get that out of the way before you get a bigger engine. If you don't get rid of the stripping problem and get a bigger engine you're going to have bigger problems.

Later.

Go buy the Losi LST. It already comes with a .26 and a synthesized radio (JR XS3), plus it is all beefed up already, and it only costs $600. You would need to spend $2,000 to make a Maxx as beefy as the LST (or even the Monster GT). I ain't a Maxx hater, I got two of 'em. But they ain't worth the money anymore. There are too many nice, beefy, fast trucks coming into the marketplace.

a bigger engine?? the 24.7 is a monster as it is. i would just gear ur truck just a bit different and it will give u different results. i am runnin the 24.7 in my supermaxx and i can run with all the guys runnin the wasps and picco .26's.

you better decrease to a .21 if you wanna stay almost problem free. Otherwise a .26 and up will pose many problems and you'll be left following all the weak links on the big T and end up spending thousands to keep it running. Trust me. I found out the hard way.
