Yeah, I have had expirience with a megatech .12 in my old RC10GT and it was SLOWWWWWW and died after about 1 gallon of fuel but I think that was cause I was leaning it out so bad just to get it to spin the tires :bling: Megatech sucks, get yourself an O.S. cv-rx.

How much is your budget????? get the 2.5 with engine replacement plan or just another pro...
 
why don't you just save about 40 bucks???? or get it from your parents...

or you can get the pro .15 for 65 or 75

with the replacement plan.... :jester:
 
I don't want a pro .15 all that one gave me was trouble see, I really have 165 dollers, but I don't wan't sped it all on a engine. and I need it to be a drop in. NO CUTTING crank, etc.

I know there are, but I do like that cv-x, but how do I now if I cut it too long or my worst fear too short.

those are your basic choices or cut the crank just get the nut below and thread it on then cut flush with edge of nut its that simple if you can't do it by eye...X

Now if you want to cool your jets I will help you find a deal online Also if you get a CV not a CV-R you are gonna have to put a bigger head on it cause the stockers are a joke...

some of those are .12 wich is smaller. does that mean I will get less power?
 
I'm going to venture to say if you have a 'worst fear' of being 'too short' then more than likely it is.

Cutting a crank takes hardly any work at all and is VERY easy to do. Get your old man to help you out. Then the possibilities are much larger. Which, should, make you happy.

That is Correct. But this engine here http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXXA43&P=7 makes more power than everone I listed except for the .15 CV-RX a .12 cv-r makes more power and rpms than a .15 CV unless its a hyper then its .10 less hp ... my dad said that i can't get it because in the notes it said "This Engine has the short shaft and will only work on the Kyosho Ultima series vehicles and some Associated kits"
