ok, as many as you know that I have a pro. 15 engine in my t-maxx. well I tried to start it today and it just stopped and the piston would NOT come down so I called traxxas and they said that I should get the backplate off and try to get the piston out and I never done this befor and traxxas said that I get it off by my finger and I am having a really tough time with this and I did manage to get the pistion down with some locking pliers and there is really deep scrach that goes all the way around the case but thats it. no other scraches. do you have any idea that might be wrong?

well, you people didn't reply fast enuff and it fit both catagories
 
Take off the clutch assembly

Pull off the back plate

Take off the head

pull the sleve through the head

Now the piston will float and you can pull it off the end of the crank and out the top of the engine then the crank will come out..

not too bad here raining for the past 3 days but it clears up for a few hours so there is plenty of time to run... just gotta watch out for mud puddles though.. just ask KoRnKiD about them..:ball:
 
ya, how about them dunes. drove them with them off-road cars with the rool bars. pretty tight:naughty:

ok, took it apart got unstuck back together start it and seized "VVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEERRRRRRRROOOOOMMMMMmmmmmmmmm KINCK!! ohh well I got 8 1/2 gallons thru it:depress:, but now I can get the M.16 I always wanted:\
 
I know you did not just say M16 dude GET REAL. mike if you get a megatech Retread will be the only person supporting you then...X
 
then whats a not expensive egine thats better then the pro .15?
