Big block T maxx

I'm looking for help determining which chassis is right for me. I've got a 4908 I wish to upgrade to a true big block. I want a no muss or fuss chassis with appropriate length dogbone. I dont want the hassle of reconfiguring my tank and servo. ( UE is out)

You'll need a better tank, the stock one is not well suited for a bb conversion. You'll also need a ue monoblock or some type of extended chassis to fit a true big block. It's not easy, and could get expensive by the time you factor in the exhaust, monoblock or chassis, and clutch....plus all the parts you'll break or upgrade
If you've got money to burn, then do it. On a budget, you can't beat a picco .26.

I currently am running a .26 red dot and behind it it a Dynamite 053 midrange. I've managed to fit the BB pipe (small mainfold tweak), but just barely. So I've already got Most of the parts. I'm looking for more room behind the engine. And the UE monoblock looks like an over complicated "band aid"

Yeah seriously I went down this path and it was totally worth it for me but I have two grand in functional upgrades on this truck. I'm not bragging I'm just trying to give you a scope of what you are getting into. Some parts in mine are one off fabs. It's an amazing truck now and it runs perfect but it still needs tweaks like a better clutch. Plus if this is your first big block you are missing a ton of stuff you will need on top of it

So you are looking for something like this?

I used an ANCNC chassis, FLM hybrid bulks with Ofna Spider 6 gear 1/8 scale diffs. The biggest problem with all the conversions is the front of the chassis is 2.5 Maxx length....Shorter than the 3.3 this leads to front drive shaft problems and finding one that will fit correctly and still work with the peg style brake disc. The FLM chassis is super nice but it is a strange length in the front...a lot of people have to go through a TON of trial and error to get the shaft correct. The chassis I have is no longer made but you can still find them on Ebay sometimes.

Dub, I'm not trying to talk you out of it, but it's going to cost you no matter how you do it.

I’ve had a couple New Era extended chassis, they are decent.

The UE Thunder would be the best option and you can get them for around $100.00+ on the bay with chassis braces, BB mount, center skid and servo mounts (sometimes with the rear center shaft also).
If you have never has a Monoblock extension, you don’t know what you’re missing…
