That depends on what you have for a spur. If it has a stock spur, then you would just use a 1/10 size clutch/flywheel/bell. Would suggest something better than a traxxas 2 shoe, but that would get you moving.
Honestly, I don't know how "universal" engine mounts are. I had the XTM kit years ago when I had a maxx. It had a mount that came with it and I never tried anything else. So I don't know if the mounting bolt holes are standardized at all or not. I can tell you that it looked pretty much like this one:

I ran an
RC Solutions spur in place of the stock spur along with a 1/8 style
3 shoe clutch/flywheel for a savage along with a hardened
OFNA bell. This setup is good for durability and power transfer, but you may shell your trans if your trying to use a BB with a stock trans. I tried a standard bell and it didn't last a tank before all the teeth were sheared off, so don't scrimp and get the hardened bell.
You will also need a
flywheel nut and a
shim kit. You will need this regardless what clutch/flywheel combo you want to go with.
With all that in mind, robinson racing makes good steel gears to bulletproof the trans. At the very least, I'd get a
steel two speed top shaft. That or the primary output gears will be the first to grenade on you. RRP now makes all the gears for the trans. When I had mine, I was able to use steel everything except for the two large 2-speed spurs. They didn't make those out of steel back then, but they do now.
