I sold TraxxasMan6794 a TQ rx and tx for $18. He sent me an echeck through paypal. I waited until the check cleared and shipped the rx and tx. The day after I leave a positive feedback, I get an email from paypal saying "An unauthorized account activity claim was recently filed against the
following transaction". Now paypal is holding the $18 and wants me to provide proof of delivery. I faxed over the shipping receipt and delivery confirmation and now waiting for paypal to resolve the issue.

The dollar amount is small but I thought I'd give everyone a heads up. Be careful when dealing with TraxxasMan6794.
 
I know he and Racer1966 were talking about a deal, I wonder how that one went, if it happened. Good luck with the claim, hopefully PayPal will get you fixed up.

Did you use the PayPal shipping service to print the shipping label?

No...I did not. When I asked him for his address, he didn't give me his name. Just gave me the address. Well, the address matched the name on the paypal account so I shipped it to the person on the paypal account.

Not for nuthin guys, but now you see why we have a waiting period for selling here. This clown had 18 posts, and was virtually unknown here. If it were up to me the bst forum would not even be visible to buyers or sellers until the 100 post 90 day requirements had been met.
 
That wouldn't really be fair though =/ I can see where you are coming from, but just because I have under 100 posts doesn't mean I'm a scammer. Besides, if it were setup like that I would have never gotten my Savage 25.

Thats how it is on rcc, makes it a very professional atmosphere.

There's always exceptions but I agree with NC. I won't deal with anybody that hasn't put their time in.
 
I got scammed here also.

But i have avoided other sites because i simply dont have 100 things to say LOL.

Paypal and a tracking # is the safest way to go.
