Better end of the deal??

Okay so I have decided that I may make my way into racing, and so i found the HPI RS4 MT2. This way now I have a Good car to bash and race. Traded a complelety stock Traxxas 2.5 T-maxx for it.

The Truck already has the 18 ss upgraded engine to it. Has the Titanium turnbuckle kit with RPM ball ends on it. All the arms are alum. Along with the shock towers front and rear.

What all do you guys know about the MT2? How good is it and what do you recomend me doing with it?

Okay so the first time out with my new car and, A DAMN BLOWN REAR DIFF!! Where do I get beffed up gears and what not?

Hey i think pretty good deal, although the maxx 2.5 pretty good tho, Diff gears just order from local hobby shop

I think I would stay with the T-Maxx, but it really depends where you are, like if your LHS has parts for it, etc.

Anything HPI is going to beat anything Traxxas, quality-wise, in my opinion. Remember; this is my opinion, others might disagree.

Hey ya once again, yea ui had all my trucks i had the tmaxx 2.5 it was good and when i changed to hpi i noticed that they have way better quality than traxxas. More bashing and less fixing ....

Do they make 2 speed for the MT2 at all? It already blows away my friends Jato 3.3 and I want it to go faster. =]

HPIA912 I guess is the 2 speed for the nitromt. Will it work on the MT2? And I know its a part no longer made but I can find it on ebay.

If I remember right, it's based on the RS4 chassis, so a 2 speed might be workable. Then again, I'm not sure. I'm sure someone else around here will know.
