Best way to tune?

Hey I am trying to get my Maxx back tuned, I have the 3.3 motor and i was reading some people say tune the Hi-speed first then the low-speed and some say to do the low-speed first then hi-speed. I am trying to figure out what is the easy way to tune this motor? I am also wondering what are some standard specs i can start at to help me get it in tuned?

Always! Tune the hsn first. Search these forums here for it, there are tons of threads explaining details on how to tune, there are even many threads on just the 3.3.

Here is a great thread on basics of tuning. If your tune is out of wack set it back to factory and follow the above thread.

For a good standard starting point would be 3 turns out HSN and 2 - 2.5 turns out on the LSN?

4 turns out for the hsn is factory. Lsn should be flush, not with the outside ring but flush with the gray part right around it. Idle is about 1mm gap, adjust as needed after tune.

Be careful putting the hsn all the way in, don't over tighten it! It will cause so many issues tuning, just turn it in carefully and stop as soon as you feel resistance.

Oh one more thing, be sure you warm up the engine for 60 seconds before tuning it.

i warm my motor up for half a tank bring it to me fill it back up then tune unless i know for sure it running lean right off the bat then i richen some so it dont get to hot
