best way to shut off engine

whats the best way to shut a nitro engine off? "squishing" the fuel line or covering tailpipe?

Plugging the tailpipe or stopping the flywheel.

This has been a topic quite a few times. Some folks don't like plugging the stinger because of flooding. Others don't feel safe pinching the fuel line because of the couple seconds of lean running(tho enough oil remains to keep the engine lubed I've read). I like to pinch the fuel line and plug the exhaust. Overkill? Probably.

I flip 'em over and let them idle out, never noticed any premature wear.

....or, install a remotely controlled fuel cut off valve from Killer RC.
